Rebecca Pitcher

Rebecca Pitcher has spent more than 13 years in the healthcare industry where she has held various positions in sales, marketing, finance and operations. Currently, she is Vice-President for McKesson Medical Surgical where she oversees the day to day operations of the Sterling Home Care business. Both her personal and professional background provides her with the compassion and drive to be an effective leader to this foundation.

Pitcher has held many key leadership roles such as director of service and director of sales operations. At Cardinal Health, Pitcher led a team of 120 employees and managed the services of more than 200 strategic customers. By the time she was 29, she was named director of marketing of a $4 billion dollar distribution business. Cardinal Health honored Pitcher for her success and determination when she received the Dave McConnell Life and Leadership award, one of the highest honors given in the organization.

Her personal experiences have also been influential in her career decisions. She was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and at the age of 24 began chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Although she was in remission for a short time, her cancer returned and she underwent a stem cell transplant. Throughout her treatment she was the recipient of many charitable programs and volunteers and learned first hand how an effective organization can bring hope to those in need.

Ms. Pitcher received a bachelor of business administration in banking and finance from Hofstra University. She resides in Moorestown, NJ with her husband Benjamin and son Cole.
