LIVE APPRENTICE VIEWING MAY 15th at 8:00pm
with Tammy Trenta, current cast member and BGA alumni, 1990
A live viewing of the Apprentice was held on May 15, 2006 at Bishop George Ahr high school. The event was hosted by the Theresa Kathryn Foundation, a not for profit charity that focuses on providing assistance to various public charities and organizations helping women’s causes as well as individuals seeking support.
The event began with Tammy Trenta, founder of the Theresa Kathryn Foundation and Bishop Ahr alumnus, spending a day at the high school to speak with the student body about the importance of education and the tools needed to be successful in today’s business world. Tammy also took questions directly from students and spent time with many teachers throughout the day. “I hope by talking with students about the opportunities a solid education can provide, I will have helped in some way for them to begin making plans about their futures with their parents and counselors” said Tammy Trenta.
The event continued into the evening with a live viewing of the Apprentice in the school’s auditorium which was attended by the students, teachers, parents and many individuals from the local community. The event, which was held to raise awareness about the importance of education, also helped to raise funds for the high school and the Theresa Kathryn foundation.
